The Rain and Space

It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on our land. The Lord is his name! - Amos 5:8 (NLT)

After a crazy and hectic day I spent some relaxing time with my adopted family last night.  During our visit we were treated to a sudden summer storm which produced a double rainbow and got us a little wet as we sat and watched it.  Later, after eating some numlicious food, we played with an i-pad...observing where the stars are in relation to our planet with a sky map program.  We laughed and gabbed for several hours.

My visit was a much needed rest from my work day. I thanked the Lord for the wonderful people who have accepted me into their family (and tolerate it when I open my mouth and insert my size 7's frequently)!  And this morning I am awed by His leading to the passage above.  It reminds me, once again, that He provides everything. He takes care of me. He watches over me. The challenges that I am facing currently aren't the end of the world. If the Lord can arrange these seemingly unrelated experiences to correspond to a bible verse that I read randomly (or was it?) this morning, then He certainly can (and will) arrange to make all of the items that I am currently struggling with fall into place, just where He has planned them to be.

Dear Lord - I leave my day in your capable hands and ask that you guide me where you will. Thank you for my dear friends and family. Please be with them as they travel back home and may you send my love with them wherever they may go. I love you so very much! Amen.

Blessings and peace,

Leah
